Scotchgard and VentureShield Paint Protection Films

Installed on new and used vehicles, 3M Scotchgard™ and VentureShield® Paint Protection Films (PPF) are nearly invisible films that protect the painted surfaces of your car (hood, fender, bumper, mirrors, etc) from road debris such as rocks, bugs, salt, etc.

Made of a 6 mil (.006”) thick clear urethane plastic, 3M Paint Protection Film was initially designed to protect helicopter blades from debris during the Vietnam War. Since then, it has been used by various auto manufacturers and NASCAR teams to protect painted surfaces from rock chips.

Installed by certified applicators, 3M Scotchgard™ and VentureShield® are warrantied for five years. (Please see warranty for specific terms and conditions.)

If it’s painted and it moves, it can use 3M Paint Protection Film.
